FROM WATER TO AIR; STUDENT SOLUTIONS FOR A CLEARER, CLEANER FUTURE

In this competition, students were asked to come up with creative solutions to help provide for a clearer, cleaner future by submitting their insights and ideas on ways that can help to solve some of the most critical issues facing the planet.

It is clear that our planet is facing numerous challenges. This competition is focusing especially on two key planetary resources, air and water as these are critical and joined to sustain life. 

Poor air quality is impacting all and clean water represents an increasingly scarce resource with many areas around the world struggling with the destructive effects of drought and flooding. 

Molecular Frontiers Journal and Next Breath, along with support from World Scientific launched a competition to hear from students about your ideas, insights and discoveries as to how to identify the issues as well as how to improve, protect, procure and allocate these important resources. One or more of these submissions might even represent or lead to the next scientific breakthrough!

The best way to help ensure a sustainable pathway forward is to be  part of the solution.
